Sorry to all our faithful readers. It's been a busy month. We have the baby gates installed, new paint on the first floor, Jon has made it through most of orientation, and we are back from our MN & ND trip. The plumber has fixed the water heater so it is no longer ready to explode from the pressure at any second. Next we will start to settle into a new schedule. Today is my first day home alone with Aiden in a very long time. He started walking! Not consistently but he is learning that maybe it's a better way to get around- at least easier on his knees.
We went to buy spice jars today so I can try to contain the box that is our jumble of a spice collection. We went to the fish market and watched the fish swim in the live tanks, bought some dinner, some fresh pasta and bread at the Italian market, coffee at the roaster. It's fun to go down to "the strip" and get groceries at different specialty markets.
